Aaron Barr’s abstract canvases have been showcased in both group and solo exhibitions and have found their way into the homes of major collectors. Apart from his solo work, Barr has collaborated with world-renowned artists, including Lenore Tawney, a celebrated artistic figure of profound importance in the history of fiber art.
Barr's early years in New York City provided a sprawling urban canvas that significantly influenced his innovative approach. The vibrant streets of NYC not only molded his perspective but also positioned him amidst a pulsating community of visual artists. His years living and working in Tuscany also inspired his artwork.
Born in Cincinnati, OH, Aaron currently resides in Westport, Connecticut, after several years abroad in Tuscany.
